OK so bright and early this am- we are off to school in full costume and makeup for the (character parade)in layman terms the Halloween chaos.
There was of course the projected assortment of Hannah Montanna's, Iron men, Bat men,Disney Princess's with a few clever ( ohh the horror and shame) made costumes.We had gotten early in the week the permission slip to ok or not ok our childs participation. Just as we are about to leave for the parade here comes one little girl her mom draggin her in no costume no nothing the little girl is crying because she is not in a costume and wanting to know why her mom wont stay and watch. Its just sad when parents do this type of shit to there kids, I personally know this mom, they have money, they believe in Halloween,mom doesnt work why couldnt she take the time to make, buy, borrow a costume for her child and then stay for 1/2 hour? I just dont get it and never will.

*side note do not wait untill 200 pm the day before Halloween to purchase your Disney Princess pumpkin carving set-two HEb's 1 walmart 1 target 1 hobby lobby 1 micheals and several misc walgreens and cvs's and still could not produce said carving kit. I have failed as the perfect mom
A house divided
Good Morning:
Sorry about the no only in Texas post, I just haven't had much to blog about lately, I mean hell life around here has been much less than dull.
We are so split down the middle here as a family politics/discipline/finances ect.....seems somebody is always pissed around here.(NOT ME OF COURSE BECAUSE AS ALWAYS I AM A PERPETUAL RAY OF F*******SUNSHINE AS YA'LL KNOW. Here in the heart of Texas we are staunch republicans, the sign in our front yard says McCain/Palin-as small business owners we cant see how Mr. Obama can do any good for us. I do believe in change/hope- ect.... but I would like to continue to make a living, my 18 yr old is a Obama supporter but sadly not for the right reasons-what he believes in/stands for ect. He just feels we need a person of color in the head honcho seat. Personally I don't care if our President is purple/gold /green/ has boobs/has a boy toy/
or likes the same sex as he/she- I just want someone with some morals/ethics/brains and plain ole common sense sitting in the seat and directing our lives for the next 4 years.
On another note my son has finally finished high school wooohoooo. Now if he has passed the taks test we can have a party- more on that in December. My husband thinks its time for him to leave the nest and become a man, I do agree but as a mom I have to admit he just aint ready the child may be 18 but common sense wise we are working on maybe 14 give or take.
We went to a haunted house last week against my advice!!!!! My daughter is 6 she is not ready for haunted houses no matter how much she says she is. I said and I quote " she is not ready she will be scared out of her mind she will not be right for days" ummmm guess what? 2 nano seconds after walking through the front door she is screaming and crying I wanna go home- imagine that a 6 year old child being scared what a concept huh? we are going on night 7 of her sleeping with us. quote"I TOLD YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"unquote. so there nanny nanny boo boo

Smart Ass or Funny as Hell you tell me.................
After picking up my two wonderful children from school, with the 7 yr old daughter in back and the 18 yr old boy in the front, I find myself trying to listen to both of them tell me about their day,we sort it all out and my son starts to list what he needs to do when he gets home (chores) he goes to bitching about it and his sister out of know where says this and I quote " Let me know how it all works out for you''. My son looked at me and I looked at him and he said did she just say what I think she said? And I said omg she did.... he was pissed. I laughed my butt off. so what do you think smart ass or funny as hell.
*just a side note I have never heard this particular phrase used in our home, or around our friends thats why to me its dang funny*
